Gallery M was founded in 1991.
The idea was born in the family of two well-known artists: Momunbek Akmatkulov and Zhyldyz Oruzbayeva, with the aim of creating a creative art center and building a platform for communication of like-minded people.
"Gallery M" positions itself as a gallery of contemporary fundamental art. In other words, this is the art of modern technology: painting, graphics, sculpture and photography.
The main goal of Gallery M is to support positive cultural processes in society, continue traditions and develop modern trends in Kyrgyz culture, create a cultural environment and maintain the prestige of Bishkek as the cultural center of the Republic, as well as create and restore cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan and near and far abroad. Every year he organizes plein airs for our artists and sculptors in different countries, after which there are reporting exhibitions in the “Gallery M”.
"Gallery M" exhibits works by famous artists of Kyrgyzstan not only in their homeland, but also in Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Germany, the USA, France and other countries.

In addition, "Gallery M" offers classes in painting and applied arts, cycles of master classes with famous artists, sculptors and designers of the Kyrgyz Republic, such as: Taalay Usubaliev, Alexey Kamensky, Konstantin Shkurpela, Kadyr Bekov, Natalya Kopelovich and many others.
"Gallery M" helps to awaken hidden and unexplored talents so that people can find real pleasure in the world around them through drawing and painting. Children's city and republican competitions and exhibitions are organized annually, in which many children's creative institutions take part.
We regularly participate in festivals and charity exhibitions throughout the country.
